Who we are
swissrest.ch is the partner portal of schlemmen.ch
schlemmen.ch was founded by Konrad Fellmann in 1994. Since then, several hundred restaurants from the Aargau, Solothurn, Berne and Central Switzerland regions have joined our network and feature on the website and in the print edition.
The publications schlemmen.ch and swissrest.ch were taken over by Thomi Bräm and his agency team in 2018.
After building a new website and various preparatory work, a new full colour print edition for the whole of Switzerland was published in the Spring of 2020. The new edition had a novel concept and is the “25th Jubilee edition”. During the Pandemic, the publisher had to cancel another print edition but the Websites were always updated. The current print edition was published in March 2023. Another edition (large print-run) is planned for late summer 2023. Interested restaurants meeting our criteria can contact the publisher up until the end of June.
Many new ideas are on the table that will be implemented step-by-step during the new launch of schlemmen.ch. The schlemmen.ch restaurants already on our list will be regularly contacted by our field staff.
Our mission
We endeavour to include top-quality restaurants and recommended culinary establishments on schlemmen.ch. We can vouch for their quality. Even an unpretentious, cosy and well-run mountain inn can be included in our print edition.
We have made a conscious decision to refrain from any form of assessing culinary establishments. We will provide you with clear, distinctive information, but do not award points, stars, crowns, chef hats or gold ladles.
You can simply place your trust in all our schlemmen.ch restaurants. Bon appetit!
